Force Trades

Is there a way to force a trade? Been playing Go 25 and I can’t seem to make a trade unless it’s completely lopsided and favors the other team no matter what the trade sliders are at

No force trade. It is only available with commissioner mode which isnt part of Go

My work-around is to upgrade or downgrade one of the players ratings to get the AI to accept the trade. Then I restore them to what they were.

For pitchers, I usually just add a few 250 quality pitches such as knuckleballs and knuckle-curves.

For batters, I usually increase power by adding 100 or 200 for current and potential.

The only real obstacle is a no-trade clause.

You can lower the trade difficulty but you cannot force a trade. Without commish mode there is a lot you cannot do.

Another way with no editing is to takeover the team that doesn't accept the trade and propose it, once the trade is complete take back the team you were controlling.

This seems poor. Is this likely to get addressed with a patch as it seems naff to have to make these workarounds to be able to trade. Were previous versions the same?

Another thing, we often get asked for feature additions like commish mode or various advanced league options. But, those are intentionally desktop-only. If we'd include them in the mobile version, we would cannibalize our desktop sales and be out of business in a year. That can't be in your interest. Another option would be to add all desktop-exclusive features to OOTP Go (many modern phones would be able to handle this), and then price the game at $49.99. I don't believe this is in your interest either.

Thanks for the response. I do get why commish mode is not included but I was more referring to whether a patch would be released to fix what appears to be an issue with trading within the game.
