Hi, I am new to the game and have noticed that the trades that I get seem kind of crazy. Teams want to trade a 2.5 star or less 35 year old for my top prospect. Is this normal and can I change it?

It's normal, the CPU is doing the same thing you try to do which is to cheat the opponent and get the best players for normal players.

Try placing in AI settings evaluation stronger on the ratings than on the stats to see if the trades offered vary a little, but I don't think so since it's the same thing we all want to do, get more by giving less.
