When good RFs go bad

Two plays in one inning where my RF (Juan Soto of the 2015 Mets) acts bizarrely at Citi Field.

First play: ball "hit" to RF although the ball is nowhere to be found. Soto comes charging in and keeps charging until he's backing up home!

Meanwhile, batter runs to second, blasting past runner on first! Then after a long pause, runner on first runs to third, passing batter who is standing on second!

Second play: Runner on third, two outs, Vogelbach up for the Pirates. He hits the ball past Alonso, but it somehow ends up next to Alonso.

Soto dashes in and picks up the ball! Secondbaseman Acuña meanwhile has sprinted all the way out to RF.

Soto throws to third where Vogey is called safe.

The runner, who wasn't even visible on third before the pitch, eventually runs home long after the ball was hit.

Play is called an RBI double even though Vogelbach did not advance on any throw.
