Game crash at 2024/05/31

Game crashes at 2024/05/31 all time.
I use Galaxy S24 ultra and when I try to go to the next date, it crashes and it just goes to my home screen everytime.
I'm Korean but using English in game, and playing MLB

I crash on 5/31/24 every time. I’ve tried three different seasons and did a complete uninstall and reinstall on my IPhone and still had no luck. I’m also on iOS 17.4.1.

I'm not able to reproduce on my end, for Android users (ios hide files unfortunately), could you send me your lg file via dropbox or google drive or something? You can find the lg file on your device by plugging it into your computer and navigating to this folder;
\Internal storage\Android\data\com.com2us.ootpbbgo25.android .google.global.normal\files\AppData\prefs\saved_ga mes

For iphone, could you please opt into sending crash data to developers, and then reproduce the crash a couple times? That way I'll be able to see it on my end

I turned on the debug trace, is that the setting you were referring to? It also doesn’t full crash, it just freezes. On another new season I got it to the end of June. Here’s the screen it freezes on, I attached to t to the message.

Ah, I wonder if it's saving but not showing the save-bar? If you leave it for long enough does it unfreeze?
Could you send me the trace file? You can find it in the Files app on the device

I’ve tried leaving it to see if it would clear but it doesn’t even up to the 10 minute mark. I also don’t have anything in my files app either from OOTP Go. I’m not sure if it’s registering a crash if it just freezes or not.

The trace file should hopefully help, if you can start the game fresh, then advance to where it gets stuck, then close the app, then grab the trace file immediately before reopening the app

Where is the trace file supposed to go on an IPhone? I can’t find it in my files app on my phone.

In the app settings, make sure Debug Settings is set to OOTP debug trade ENABLED.
Then reproduce the issue and then go to the files app where there should be a folder On My iPhone > OOTP Go 25

I’m not sure what you mean by that, I’d say no. If that’s a feature within the game I haven’t used it yet.

I think not knowing what it is means you don't have it
I didn't think so, which is good because I think that means I found the issue. In fact, it's extra good because it's also technically an issue on desktop since it's a shared part of the code. I appreciate you taking the time to look into it with me

I'm hoping to have a build out on Wednesday which would have the expected fix in

Not at the moment, but if you're on Android you can send me your .lg file and I can try to unstick it for you and send back

OK! I was able to confirm the issue AND have a simple workaround for everyone.
Just go into the Global Settings, then in the View > Advanced Mode.
Now that's it, your game should be fixed
