Using Current Stadiums in Historical Game
Back in Go 23 you were able to edit ballparks in a historical game to a current ballpark. It also worked at the beginning of Go 24 but after one of the app updates it ceased to work. Since we can't use mods it would be nice to be able to assign a current park for some different visuals while playing out games.
You always get, once they opened in real life, Wrigley, Fenway, Yankee Stadium and Dodger Stadium. As an example if I am playing Baltimore in the 70's and go to customize and ballpark under ballpark name and change it to Oriole Park at Camden Yards and save you will see under select ballpark to edit it will read Oriole Park at Camden Yards (BAL,MLB) as it should but when you play a game you still get a generic park. I used to be able to assign, as an example Oracle Park to the NY or SF Giants at any point but now not until the park opens, even if the corporate sponsor changes so in this case the park becomes available in 2000 when it was Pac bell, even though I enter it as "Oracle" |

Unfortunately, the system how we load those parks automatically changed, and hence renaming the ballpark no longer work. Maybe in the future we can add a way to select another 3D model in Go, but right now it is what it is, I'm afraid.

Disappointing, but thanks for the update. It was a little thing but it made a difference.
