Scouting reports inconsistent

Something i've noticed in the scouting reports is that quite often it talks about the player being inconsistent when his character ratings say "Good consistency."

Is there a good reason for this?

Regards,

Matt

Someone can be both at the same time just in different areas. I do not know of the specific situation you are talking.

Hi Steve,

In general I would not expect a player whose consistency rating was "Good" to be described, in the scouting report, as being inconsistent and going icy cold for long periods.

Perhaps consistency in the character report is talking about something other than "on the pitch performance?" I just inferred that because it seemed to fit with clutch performance and since I don't see what other effect it could have.

Regards,

Matt

Consistancy for the player in the attitude (or whatever) section? I think that it means consistant at whatever game-level he plays at - viz. bad player is consistantly bad or "still inconsistant at times" w/ a good consistancy rating, would mean he is still inconsistant all the time.

I think that it is something like that, but in all seriousness, I think that it would be their hot/cold probability... less likely to go into serious cold or hot streak... not sure though.
