1975 Draft Pool class missing?

Hey Everyone,

I started a historical league from 1901 and every year the draft comes in December like clock-work with the players available, but now in the 1975 off-season heading into 1976, when the draft pool generates there are no players at all...

Has anyone encountered this issue before and is there a work around?

If you do a search on the forum, you'll find reference to a bug where if you move the draft or draft reveal date, the class doesn't show up. It was slated to be fixed in the most recent patch. Are you on the latest patch?

Yes, I'm on the latest patch, it I haven't moved the draft classes since 1901... and it was fine until I got to 1975... I will chat more with you on discord regarding this.. so I can show screenshots. But if anyone else has any insights please let me know, really weird...

Update Everyone with LansdowneST help it's fixed

For those that ever encounter this the work around seems to be , force End-task your OOTP 25 game, then go back in, go to your league settings then move the amateur draft a few days out from where it is (mine was Dec 15th, so moved it to Dec 18th), make sure you also have set the amateur draft gets reveled 30 days before draft..

Sim time ahead and it should generate the class when it gets to 30 days before. Hope this helps if anyone else ever has this problem . Was a good class too, (Wade Boggs, Rickey Henderson, Mike Scott debuted, heh) so glad we fixed it lol.

To clarify, the force-quit is dangerous, so back-up first. The part I want to emphasize is the moving of the draft as soon as you see the class is empty. There is a date that will work but if it is too early it won't for some reason. Glad pushing it back a few days and having the reveal date, move equally to the right on the timeline, got it to trigger.

Ya, only reason why I went with the Force Quit route was because something definitely felt wrong... before the blank draft pool, since I sign my own Minor League personal, the A ball teams were willing to coach for "0" dollars, and my MLB manager wanted an extension of 1.3 Million to continue to coach.

I also moved the date of the amateur draft twice on Nov 20th and 25th and still had a blank draft pool after. So I didn't want it to save by normal names upon exit after 2 failed attempts to get the draft pool to appear.

Luckily, doing it that way, and then going back into the game and trying again to move the draft date back a few days work this time. So who knows really.. but glad it's solved lol.

I think it's better to wait for a solution through a patch, it shouldn't be so difficult because in the previous versions this worked perfectly, I always change the draft for june so that the players can debut the same year, and the draft pool reveal I put it 120 days before (always historical seasons).

End Task OOTP 25 can bring corrupted save game files.
