I have played OOTP Baseball for at least ten years, probably much longer. I enjoy choosing a team and playing out the current regular season with them. For photos, I go to the team's website and copy the photo of each player from their bio. The photos are jpeg. I name each player by their name. For instance, Dustin_Pedroia. (Maybe the mistake is that I am using uppercase letters for their first and last names.) Typically, I would drop those photos in the picture or photo file. These seem to be zip files that I am unable to open. Sorry for the long post. I would genuinely appreciate instructions on adding player photos. Thank you.

If its a league you have already started, i think you have to put them in: "saved_games\yourleaguename.lg\news\html\image s"
It seems thats where i have to put for the game to find photos. It's ok to have uppercase letters, as long as its like Dustin_Pedroia.jpeg it should be fine. You just have to exit and then reload the save and the photo should load. Hope that helps!

I put photos here
Users - Brad - Documents - OOTP - Photos if you're running into compressed files when you try to save you're in the wrong OOTP folder. I use the player's BBRef ID. Note BBRef does not name its player photo files the ID. The ID is available at the end of the URL when you are on the players page. You don't have to put them in the league folder. If you have the look for player photos options set the game will look for them in the main game folder. I'm sure there are other ways. This works for me.
