Can we get extra options for "default" in-game stadiums?

I'm playing out games as the Houston Astros in 1965, so the year of the Astrodome. And when I go in to play home games, it's in a minor league stadium that stands in for the actual stats of the Astrodome, which are apparently represented. But is it not possible to get a default stadium in the game that's:

1) A major league sized stadium, and
2) that matches the actual specs of the stadium (i.e. open field, domed etc)?

Considering that the in-game stadium creator does not have a domed or retractable roof option at all means this has to be something the developers can add in to the default install ... am I crazy? In the meantime I'm just playing it out and ignoring it, but as a fan of historical play it's a real bummer not having the options to improve this aspect.

Pretty sure these are the directions but I don't have it in front of me currently.

If yr using Steam, go to the Steam workshop within the Steam app and search for/subscribe to Silvam's stadium mod for OOTP25. Pretty sure that kicks off a download or processing bar of some kind, once that finishes open OOTP25 and go to Steam Workshop and it should be listed there. Click on install/reinstall or something along those lines and it should install in your game. After that, you should see those stadiums within your current save or if you start a new one.

I am direct download. I have Silvam's full stadiums file downloaded, but install is driving me nuts ... I used direct install, from the .exe for OOTP, and used default settings. When I go into the folders, all the folders are zipped, and my system won't let me update anything. I'm sure there's something stupid I'm missing, but it's frustrating me to have it all right here but can't get the files where they go lol

I keep getting "File Not Found Read Permission" every time I try to do anything lol

I'm at the point of giving up ... if I'd known Steam would make this kind of thing so much easier I'd have gone that route, but I've never used it before lol.

EDIT: Here is how Windows 10 has my system set up. I go to:

C:\Program Files\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 25\

At that point I have a Data folder that, on default, is empty except for a fonts folder, a skins folder, and then some various backgound files for Perfect Team. Then there is a folder called default_data which is full of game files but all in zipped folders. I've backed up my zipped folders labeled ballpark_files and database_files, and have followed all of Silvam's directions. But whether I unzip the folders and add his files, then putting them in "default data" or "data", neither one actually links to the new files. So I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but I can't for the life of me figure out what.

So at this point I have my backed up OG zipped folders that came preinstalled with the game, both sitting on my desktop. And now I have new unzipped default folders with all the new files from Silvam added ... they are now in BOTH the "data" folder and the "default data" folder, and neither way is actually linking the files, even though I have his era stadiums text file in the default data folder where it goes. So I'm at a loss.

I have been working with a friend in an online league and he is as stumped as I am ... I have my File Manager settings set to show all files, not to hide any. But this is all I see in my "data" folder. Then there's a "default_data" folder that has a bunch of zipped files. He says that on his system he sees a lot more in his "data" folder than I am. This is my home PC, I should have full administrator controls, so it shouldn't be hiding stuff from me ...

I've never been this stumped by something that should be so simple lol any help would be greatly appreciated.

It should actually be in your "Documents" section. At least mine are.

I actually fixed it by loading, via "Settings" in OOTP25 ...

Click "Settings," then "Troubleshooting," then "Open Folder Containing Customizable Data"

Location of the data folder depends on your initial install choice. Some have the Data folder in the Documents folder others in their OOTP25 folder. Just to clear up previous posts. Glad you figured it out.

Yeah I guess for some reason the "default" install puts your backups in the normal Program Files area and the real files in Documents, which is odd to me. In the future I'll probably do a manual "experts" install and have it all go in program files when OOTP 26 comes out

At least now I know where they're at Hopefully this helps others ...

jksander, I use a "user defined" location with the normal Fastspring download. Everything is in just one folder. D:\Sports\OOTP Baseball 25. I don't like to install every program to C:\Program Files. Just my pet peeve. After the next patch you can change your installation option. Just copy any added files to your new location. Verify the game runs and then delete the unneeded folders in your Documents. Otherwise wait until next year.

Yeah I'll keep stuff where it is for now, since I know where it all is lol Thanks for the info on how you do it though ... that's a good idea to create a sports specific folder.

Yes I figured it out. I had played through OOTP4 and then rediscovered the game w OOTP24. Just hadn't tried to do any modding w v.24
