How do I do this ?

Is there a way to reset a season without recreating a new one.
For example I want to test settings for a certain season.
What I've been doing is testing settings and if I am not happy I just delete that season and recreate it.
There has to be a better way.
Thanks for your time

Before you play a season, make a backup of it. If you're unhappy with the outcomes, you can then reload the backup and continue from that point forward.

Here's how I always test settings, events, and any other shenanigans I find myself trying. Best part is that it's very fast to get yourself back to ground zero to try again.

In your saved games folder create a new folder, title it however you like. I usually name it the same as my league, then throw "TEST" at the end of it.

Copy only the .dat files from your league save into that folder.

Open the game, load your TEST copy, disable anything that you don't absolutely need to speed up sim time (box scores, facegen, etc).

Save the game, then head back to your TEST saved game folder and zip up a copy of those .dat files. This is your ground zero for repeated tests.

Proceed with your test sim. When you want to start over, close the game (or load a different league), unzip your backed up .dat files and reload your league.

Edit: Or instead of constantly overwriting the .dat files in the TEST folder, just make yourself multiple TEST folders right from the start and try them down the line with different settings.

Seriously, just use the backup feature. It will take a snapshot at exactly the moment in time you want.
