League Templates

Please allow me to overwrite them. I save several times when I am creating them, but I have to give it a new name each time. Please allow me to use the same name and just ask me if I want to overwrite it.

Yes! Also let us use a backup without needing a new name, too.

How do you make a template? It has been many versions of OOTP since I wanted to and now I cannot remember how. Thanks in advance.

When you're creating the league it's under the Advanced tab.

If you already started and want to do it then, it's under Game | Game Settings | Global Settings, then the Global Actions dropdown in the upper right

Can't you go into the world template folder and change the file names?

Yes to both and that's actually how I handle restoring backups, I just copy/paste between folders when needed.

Neither are huge deals, but both would be nice to have within the game.

An OOTP strength is the degree of malleability ootp files allow. The database feature is likely the most overlooked.
