Final Beta build available - Version 25.1.46

Hi all!

We have just released the final public beta, version number 25.1.46. Simply download the beta again using the links below and install it over your current installation. Please make sure you have closed the game before.

If all goes well, then this is the final build for tomorrow's launch!

Note: This patch is not compatible with previous versions for online leagues
Fixed roster set and historical database issues (need to create new game for changes to take effect)
Updated pitch display
Fastballs will tend to not show as high as before. Other pitches should generally show higher than before
Note that this does not impact internal ratings, or stuff ratings
Updated MLB new standard game start with proper roster limits
Fixed bug with how control options for minor leagues worked
Added minor league development focus control option
Fixed Negro League player ratings import
Fixed ratings bars with BABIP disabled to display in previous order. Gap moved to previous positioning for all displays
Fixed draft pick negotiation text about compensation
Fixed job offer message missing text
Fixed “Game could not be initialized” error message
PT: Fixed issues with roster builder exports
PT: Increased local roster builder saves to 200
PT: Fixed tournament update
PT: Fixed crash on transaction history
PT: Fixed card release date
PT: Added missing comma in shop export
PT: Renamed all instances of Stealing Rate to Stealing Aggressiveness and Catcher Ability to Catcher Blocking
Fixed several cosmetic issues

Historical data base issues. Can you expand on that a little? If I don’t start a new league is is Barry Bonds going to hit 10 home runs or is it something I will probably never notice.

The other day you reported that 2023 was messed up in the historical db. Was that stuff fixed?

I want it on for hitters and off for pitchers, but that is not currently possible.

The adjustments on the pitch displays should have a pretty big effect on imports, where we were displaying change ups and curves too low before.

It should have already. Try logging out, restarting, verifying local files etc.

No, it's a missing text issue. I believe we have not gotten to the comp picks yet.

I just started up my OOTP 25 league and the gameplay stalls. Since I bought the beta to try it will the actual finished product be able to download tomorrow? Thanks

Is anyone having this problem and where do we download the game tomorrow? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Best bet is to check (and post your issue!) in the bugs forum linked in the first post of this thread to see if it's a known issue or something new.

The link tomorrow (and any future patches) will be posted in the forums just like this - and throughout the season if a new patch is dropped you'll usually get a reminder note when you load the game itself, so don't feel like you have to be watching the forums 24/7 to stay up to date.

Can you give us more details about the league type, when and where this happens, what exactly happens, etc? Thanks!
