Player development tab question
Sorry if someone already asked this.
I love the player development tab and I see you can ask the AI to set it up when you are in the players individual development tab just like you can with player strategy. Is there a place to do it for the entire team like you can with player strategy? I have poked around, and I might just be missing it. If it isn't available now, will it be in the future? |

I'm guessing that I have not missed the setting. Really not looking forward to setting up the development tab for 150 to 200 players one at a time

I don't know that you'd want to set it for every player in your organization though.
Remember, if you give a player something to work on extra, you take away from something else. I would think that this is something that would be used on a select # of players, while most would be left to normal training in everything. I could be wrong of course, we all manage in our own way. I'm not setting specific focus for every player in my org though. It would indeed be tedious. On the other hand, I don't think I just want to throw it out there for the coaches to decide either. I like the idea that I can have specific control over every player on an individual basis. Maybe they could add an option same as you can ask your bench coach to set up depth charts and lineups, you can ask your trainer to bulk setup a training plan and apply it to all players. Then go in after and adjust the ones you prefer to have more specific control over. |

The Dev Tab is stuff they work on all season, and any improvement will just show in the regular player development report. I'm thinking it would be difficult to distinguish if a boost was the result of extra training or just normal development. |

Looking into adding a button to set it for players without having to change the AI control, but for now that is the best way. |

I second this. There should be an overall option, as if you want your organization to have a singular focus.

I figure I had to miss a setting, and yes I did. Development for minor leaguers was set to AI, while I had control of MLB players. Oh no, I don't want to have to manually fix all of my players. ![]() Maybe if I turn off development in the league settings and advance a day all of these will reset? I can only hope. Turned off development (tab not Lab), and the development tab disappeared from the player card. Turned development back on and the tab is back. Open a player, hit the tab, and... all categories were reset back to neutral/middle Now that I'm back in full control my plan is to keep all decisions in my hands. I'll pick and choose players I want to "help" and once I've made any change will lock that player away from AI changes. I know I have the AI off, but this would allow me to turn it back on if I wanted to give it another try without losing the work I put in on the players I have already done. Not sure if this is feasible, but if/when you add the button to run it on all players could it also be done to reset all "unlocked players" to neutral?
