MLB Draftees have very low potentials, is it on purpose or a bug?

Got to the draft and only one player had a 65 potential while there only about 10 players with 50s or above. Seems very low to me. I don’t know if this is a bug or if it’s just how rating are calculated now but I would love some clarification. Thanks!

I replied to you in another thread too, but just adding it here as well.

As far as the real draft guys, the ratings are pretty much correct (Just in my opinion, you can certainly disagree). This is not a super strong draft year, there are really no can't miss guys at the top of the class, whereas last year there were 5-6. Which is not to say those won't change over time and as some guys potentially separate themselves from the class.
