OOTP 25 Pre-Order Beta Download Links!

Hello everybody!

Since each year many users have trouble locating the email containing the download links (which is being sent right now), we figured we'd post them here in advance. So, everybody who has pre-ordered can now download & play the beta version of OOTP 25.

If you have not yet pre-ordered, you can download the beta anyway and buy your license key from within the game and then activate it & play, no problem

Note for PC Users: If you get a Windows Defender warning when launching the installer, click on "More info" and then the button to launch the program anyway.

Enjoy the game and have some fun! The official launch will be on Friday, March 15, 9 AM ET on Steam and our webstore. There will not be any Epic or MacOS AppStore versions this year.

We will listen to your feedback and fix reported problems until launch

On Wednesday (and maybe Thursday, too) we'll release an updated beta build with bugfixes.

New builds are usually just posted here. It's a good idea to check the forums often though. There's still a lot of things left to discover!

Quick question for the group - If I begin a game on this beta version, will my progress carry over through when the final version is released or do I just update the application? Will I have to download the "new" game on 3/15 and start over? Thank you!

Just answered your PM. Start playing and your game will not be affected on the 15th. Same with patches. No effect on your game, don't have to start over.

Just a slight caveat here. Some patches address issues with roster sets and such and they may require the start of a new game to get those changes. Have to read the notes when a patch is released to tell if you need to start a new game to get some updates.

Is it possible to purchase a license from OOTP Developments and download it on two devices? It obviously wouldn’t be used at the same time, but is that possible like it is with steam?

You can have your license activated on two devices with your normal purchase.
