Player history (among other logs) missing

Hi there, Long time lurker, first time actually posting anything. I'd bought OOTP24 a month or two ago, but didn't get around to installing it (on a PC) until yesterday (wanted to finish up a few things in OOTP21, the last version I'd gotten). I installed it, and started a new standard game (not online, just me), taking control of the Twins, in commissioner mode. I'm in the middle of the playoffs now, in the first year (i.e. 2023). Everything's working fine except for one thing, or rather one set of things-- all the History sections on individual players' pages are empty of anything that happened in 2023. Players I've traded don't have the trade listed there, no extensions or signings (or accomplishments or injuries) are listed-- only whatever was baked into the game already. Similarly, under the team menu, all the logs in the Logs submenu are empty-- no major transactions found, no complete transactions found. As well, the logs under the MLB menu are empty-- no major transactions there, no complete transactions, nothing in the last-draft log even though that was done in June. (The only exception is the trade log, which does show all the trades that happened.) What could be going on? Is this a bug? Or-- maybe more likely-- is there a setting I'm missing? For OOTP21, everything was there and visible from the start, all the seemingly equivalent settings I could find in 24 (which certainly may not be the right ones) are set the same way as 21. Did I miss something somewhere in the setup? I hadn't realized how vital the histories and logs were until they were gone.... thanks--- (and sorry for the formatting, it keeps removing the line breaks!)

Posted on steam again too. Go to Game Settings. Then Global Settings and look on the right-hand side. There are options there to keep (or not) various logs.
