Final Curtain for v24...

With only a few weeks left before v25, I decided to take a sabbatical from OOTP. As I had mentioned previously, I pulled away any serious time when the World Series was over, but I still stopped in to open packs. My Baltimore team actually pulled a couple rare cards and made a rush into Gold - but it didn't last long.

Anyway, here's my three teams over the course of the year. All-in-all pretty common for a "half serious" F2P player. I think for v25, however, I'm going to build a Historic Only team, a Cleveland Only team, and an Open Roster team... a little variation from this years all open roster teams.

Overall, I had a good time with PT24. My #1 team has been in Diamond for 38 of 48 weeks. My late-season team has been in first place for most of this Diamond season (and is currently in first), so there's a chance they'll actually hit Perfect league before we roll over to PT25.

Things I discovered somewhat too late:

Daily Iron is my friend. I won enough Diamond tournament cards with my late-season squad to complete some key missions and managed to grab a lot of Standard and Silver Choice packs when the RNG gods were not with me.

I didn't get into serious Live spec until month three, so there were some wasted opportunities early on.

Rush-to-the-front strategy requires perfect play on the part of FTP players. I consider myself a B or B- player rather than an A, so my PT25 strategy should probably skirt more toward hanging back, selling assets which will come down in price later, and hoarding packs and points for mid-season and beyond.

Onwards and upwards.

Where do you find that graph or is that something you import yourself?
