Custom League Schedule

Why is it that every year my schedule has about 25 back to backs? One year I had 26. That's 52 of the 82 games as back to backs.

My league structure is exactly the same as the NHL... 32 teams, eight in each division, 2 conferences. And an 82 game season.

The constant back to backs wear on my goalie stamina (and effects how many starts the have in the year), as well as the stamina of my skaters.

Is there any way to fix this schedule creation glitch?

In my current season Ihad 6 games in 8 days, 3 times!
I agree, the schedulke maker needs to be tweeked.

I would like to see an option to completely edit the schedule.

Even in standard mode if you generate a new schedule on your own it has way more back to back games.

Schedule generator need some rework:

A) less back-to-backs
B) option to set regular season start and end date
FHM puts all games at the beginning of the season even you have less games in your league
C) option to define primary game days (for example put games to Thursdays and Saturdays) and secondary game days (Fridays and Sundays )
D) allow to set one or two periods without games (Christmas break)

start of playoffs need rework.
if you play with standard schedule of FHM (the one with the many back-to-backs), european style leagues (14 teams with 52 games for example) end in early february, playoffs start in April according to FHM standard schedule.
So teams sit around doing nothing for nearly two months.

We need an option to define start of playoff date in custom games.
