Game Crashing when loading

Hey Everyone!

I experienced a crash while playing FHM9 where i got the warning of a termination of application on my end, and now whenever i try to play FHM 9 OR 10, it will crash when it gets to 64% and i cant create or continue the game anymore. If anyone can give me any insight into fixing the issue or if its on my end i would appreciate it!

if the game loads but crashes when you try to load/continue a save:

did you try "restoring" the files from the rs_one or rs_two folder under your save? <game path>\saved games\<game save>\ is where you'll find the files.


(1) <optional> copy the contents of the files in <game path>\saved games\<game save> (but not the subfolders!!) to another path or zip file
(2) copy files from rs_one or rs_two into the <game save> folder, overwriting the existing files
(3) start game and see if you can load the save


if that fails then it means the last two auto-saves made by the game (rs_one and rs_two) also had the corruption, in which case you'll want to bundle the files from step 1, zip them up, and send to the developers (their is a link on how to upload saves) for them to find the issue


JeffR and his team have helped me out greatly on a couple of occassions on determining what was causing the save not to load
