Waiver eligibility during off season
Is there a way on one page to see if a player is waiver eligible during the off-season?
Since waivers don't start until opening night, the basic roster page says "no" for waiver eligibility for all players. I always get the message that there are players on the AHL team that will have to clear waivers and I would like to know before then so I can make appropriate roster decisions. |

Yes, on each player's "Contract" screen, you will see on the left column when a player's waiver eligibilty is set to kick in. If it says "2029" for example, he will have to clear waivers starting the 2029/2030 season

This would be such a huge QOL improvement to implement a column on the main roster screen that just has that date from the contract tab on it - so you can see during the off-season who is eligible. If there's a better way then that would be great too - just something other than the current situation.

Just looking at this again - if the 'Waivers' field on the default roster viewed contained literally this exact format of information, it would be much more useful.

I agree. That would be a good solution!
