Sub pitcher into position 10?

New one to me. I've been relatively wierd-free with OOTP5, but the last couple of times I've put in a relief pitcher instead of just making the change the regular position entry menu comes up wanting to know which position I want him to fill and if I want to insert him in the 10th position.

Anything different or unique about your leagues? I play out most of my games and have never seen it.

For me, it was the Maelstrom All-Star game. It was with the DH on. I don't think this would happen without the DH. The #10 spot seems to be the pitcher's spot for DH games.

It didn't happen every time that a pitching change was made. Right now, I can't remember what specific situation it was in, but it was just like when you are subbing in other players and it asks you if you really want to put them in the #x spot in the lineup.

Geez, you'd think I would have paid more attention, being a tester and all...

I play out most of my games and now in my third season - manager mode. Never seen it up to this point. It's a sudden thing. and may be temporary. Who knows?
