This is some information I copied and saved from previous posts.
Just create two human manager profiles and switch back and forth between them. To be more specific, once you are in the league, click the manager name tab up top after file and game tabs. Select "other human managers" and then "add / edit managers." You'll go back to the "other human managers" to switch between the two. When you are in the pregame screen, set this option (Simulate World in Background) to "No" Right ideally have two separate manager accounts. On days where both teams have games, you play one game, turning off the simulation option. Then immediately after the game, switch managers WITHOUT finishing the day, and play your next game. That time you can turn on simulation if you want. The biggest risk is not hitting “finish day” before you have played the second game. click your gm name at top in menu system -- look for human gms, or somethign similar near bottom -- sub menu will have set active human gm, add a human gm etc etc. once you create a second human gm, you can "select as active" form tat same menu then apply to the job you want for that 2nd human GM... set any delegation you want of responsibilities per human gm... simply "select active gm" to switch between the two at any time. |

i am surprised they do not make this easier. i would think many people would like to manage a team in each league. |

I've done this in the past, not sure if it still works:
First, I put myself in charge of the Dodgers. Next, for the Red Sox, I check the Prevent any AI Roster Changes box on the Team Settings panel... So at this point, no roster, lineup, pitching staff, etc., changes are going to happen for either team because I'm in charge of the Dodgers, and the Red Sox are frozen. Then, being as I'm already in Commissioner mode, I can manually make whatever roster changes I want for either team, whenever needed. And each day, I play out the games for both teams. The part I don't know about is how you'd go about doing this for all team's in a franchise's organization. I would think that if you put yourself in charge of the Mets, and under Manager Options, you put yourself as being in charge of pretty much everything, but especially the last 4 options (that refer specifically to Minor Leagues), it would work. Just make sure that when, for example, you play out your first game of the day, you don't have "Simulate World in Background" enabled. Otherwise, other games in your world will complete while yo are playing out your game. |

Be in commissioner mode. When each day starts, go to the daily scoreboard for each league you care about. Select the game you want to personally manage (can be for any team). At the game start screen, just change the managerial controls for the team you want to manage from the AI to you. You should be able to play the game. Then do this for every other team in every other league you want to manage that day. When you are done, advance to the next day. Last edited by uruguru; 12-23-2023 at 10:17 AM. |
