Blank news and file upload issue

Here is the sequence of events.
Multi-player online league. Everything going fine.

I made a backup of the league file and I simmed ahead to test a couple things with the league file. After simming forward, I deleted the league file I moved forward with.
I then put the old file backup I made in it's place.

Ever since then, the News in-game and does not work and also we see these #'s infront of scouting reports:

A weird behaviour is that when I sim forward, I see the emails and news start to populate and I can read them. Then I upload the basic league file to the server and the other guys who download it in-game see no news or emails at all.

I thought something might be missing from the basic file that made it so the other guys could not see the news. I tried to upload a full league file.

I keep getting an error.

I can upload the basic league file and guys can download it and everything works.
But every time I try to upload the full file, I get this error:

I've manually uploaded the full file to my ftp server and had guys download it in-game and it keeps having a download error, I suspect it's because I don't know which files to include in the zipped folder. (I just included them all, graphics and everything)

Trying to get this fixed without having to restart things of the guys in the league.
Any suggestions?

The numbers are from having the "Enable debug trace" option turned on, they'll go away if you uncheck that it Settings-Troubleshooting from the start screen.

We found an issue with a file potentially not updating properly when league files are created, which sounds like the cause of what you're seeing. It's fixed in the update.
