OOTP 25 Perfect Team Card Strength

One of my greatest quarrels with the game is the increasing strength of cards. I get wanting to keep the best cards for the end, but the cards at the beginning of the game pale in comparison to those released at the end. For example, the perfect Robin Ventura would be an 85 at highest if released today. Many of the diamond cards released now make the old diamond and perfect cards look like silver cards. It would almost be more beneficial for someone to not spend any points or rip any packs until the very end of the game.

Also, I think it would be nice if live cards were more rare. When I get a perfect Ohtani, I want to be excited about it rather than selling him for 20k just because I know he won’t outplay anyone on my team.
