All Star Game History....Where?
OK, year five sim, but cannot find the past year's All Star games. I have checked the Almanac, nothing there. And the only place I found the current year is in the BNN news page.
Maybe it is not achieved(?) Anyone know? |

There might be a list of players named to the All-Star game in the league history reports, but I have never seen anything about the historical results of the All-Star game itself.

Did you check the league history, or do you actually create an Almanac? They are 2 different things.
![]() If you created an Almanac and have checked the option to save box scores, then you can find past results there. Other than that, they are not kept. It's one of a number of historical records that are missing from the game. Manager history is another, as well as post season award winners, I could go on, but you get the idea.

It looks like I have saved them in the Alamac per the Game Alamac Save file. I do not like the last greyed out column, that may be my problem.....

If you saved all the box scores, then you can access them from the Almanac. With the game open, along the top menu select "Game" From the drop down you will see Almanac. Click on that and you should be able to open your Almanacs.
Once open, navigate to the box scores for when your all star game was. Usually in July. |

Looks like no box scores were saved for the All Star Game....If I click on League Home, I go the BNN page which shows a blank error page when I click on the AL All Stars or NL All Stars. If I click on League History I go to an error page too.
ps apprecaite your help... |

That's odd that it's not saving the AS box score. Are other box scores being saved from regular season games?
Looking at your setup you have box scores being saved, so I'm a bit stumped as to why the AS game box score didn't get saved. |

I'm a little confused by your All-Star game screenshot.
The date of the game is July 16, 1985 but the in-game date the Almanac was generated looks to be April 8, 1985. Which means you're looking at a game that hadn't been played yet.

Good catch there.....Looks like my original Almanac update was wrong. You know I am just a "minor double A"
The next season looks good, just the learning curve the first year. Can you re-generate an almanac year? I doubt it myself. |

No worries. I've been hanging around here for a while and I'm still learning things about the game.
![]() I think the only way you could regenerate an almanac is if you saved separate back-up files at the end of each season. Thus, for example, you could re-load the December 31, 1985 back-up file and generate an almanac from that. But I'm not sure if anyone goes to all that trouble saving multiple back-up files.

Instead of generating the Almanac I save the league file after every season. This way I do not lose any history and can always go back and look.
My league files look like this: MLB2000.lg MLB2001.lg MLB2002.lg

would love to have All Star Game stats for each player on their respective pages. We get combined playoff stats why not also include All Star games

I would like to see splits for post season series.
It's great to look at your newly signed LF'er and see he won the ALCS MVP 3 years ago. However when you look at his playoff stats, it only shows stats for the entire playoff for that year. I'd like to to be able to look at stats for just the ALCS that year to see what he did to earn that MVP Award. |
