OOTP Not Quitting on Mac

When I exit the program on Mac, using Command+Q, OOTP is not closing. It remains open until I Force Quit the program.

I have tried deleting the program and re-installing it, and I still get the same issue.

I've also read the instructions for how to FTP files to OOTP, and since I have a Mac it looks like there's not a readily available solution for me, so I'm trying the "submit a ticket" route as the post instructs.

Why, out of curiosity, are you using the keyboard shortcut, instead of clicking on the exit button on the home screen for the game? That has never failed me on my Mac.

I've just always used the shortcut. Never had a problem with it until recently.

And in this case, the exit button also leaves the game running in the background. The program isn't shutting down all the way.

The app does not close on my mac either. I have to open activity monitor to force quit every time.

Can you turn on debug tracking by going to settings > troubleshooting > then select 'write ootp debug info to file'?

Then click the option on that screen to 'open folder containing debug files'.

Then try to exit the game. When/if it fails, go to the folder that opened when you hit the 'open folder containing debug files' button. Take that trace file and attach it to the post here so we can take a look at it.
