Some NHA problems
Hello everyone!
First of all, congrates for this good game! I have passed more than 450 hours in FHM9, and hope to play more in FHM10. For my first quick playthrough, I have simulated some seasons in the NHA between 1909 and 1917. Here's some issues i've found : - There's no games schedules for the 4th season in the NHA, no team play any games. The PCHA don't have this problem. - Players getting unhapinness for "no ice time" in april, the last game scheduled was in february. - No Stanley Cup winners, and players are not credited for a champoinship win. - Maybe not a bug, but Star players don't want to play in the NHA. Thank you very much! I can't want to play this game!!

1912-13 seems to be generating a schedule with all game dates set to "0/0/0000". Has to be a new problem, I've got recent test saves where it's played the season properly. We'll get that fixed. For now, you can get around it by turning historical league editing on and generating a new schedule from the league edit-structure tab on July 1, 1912, you'll get a proper schedule that way.
Even weirder, 1912 starts seem to give you the "set up your manager" screen a second time after starting the game. I'm wondering if we've got some corrupt there. In the NHA years, the Cup tournament only occurs in the years where there's an NHA-PCHA series (which begins in 1913-14), so there's technically no cup winner in the seasons that don't have that. I think I found the issue with signing players, the NHA's reputation was set too low. I'll fix that. Icetime morale issue sounds like it might be a general problem with early-finishing leagues, we'll probably have to make some adjustments there. |

Wouldn't it be more historically accurate to award the Stanley Cup pre-1913 to the NHA champion since they get no challengers? They would get both O'Brien and Stanley Cups until PCHA appears.

Thank you for your answer!! Beginning in 1909 are an awesome feature!

For the "unawared NHA championship record", I've find that's only credited when there was a playoff. It's occur in only one or two seasons, I think. In the 1916-1917 season, there was a playoff, but no Stanley Cup challenge. The Stanley Cup challenge of the 5th season was set in january in my game. Same for the annual NHA awards. Quote:
Thank you very much again! Franchise Hockey Manager is the perfect game or me! EDIT : Oh! I forgot to tell : The games for the 1915-1916 season are set in october-november only, like when we edit the schedules in the league editor. It's occur only when we start the game before 1915. Another NHA error,
I noticed in your live stream the other day, in the NHA years the Ottawa Senators have the St. Louis Eagles logo and I think the Quebec Bulldogs have the Brooklyn Americans logo. |

The save was past the point where those teams moved, so it shows the last version of the franchise that's been active in the game.

Sounds like it's regenerating the schedule instead of using the correct one, I'll have a look.
