Help with STB 2003

I would like sugestion on freezing up problem and the 1.6 patch

I explained this a little in STB2003 section ... but I patched the 1.6 patch about 4 weeks ago ..... then started a season ... after loading and playing the first six weeks over the last 3 weeks .... I tried to load the game and it froze half way on the BAR ... after 20 minutes I hit esc and tried again (4 times total) but no sucess ... I then uninstalled the game and reloaded the basic game -- no problems so far ( have played several games of STB 2003 over past year but was enjoying the update ...

Would like to get it to run , so can try again or listen to other ideas.....

I'm not aware of any others having issues with the update, try it again.

I am running the 1.6 patch with no problem.

I after reinstalling the game I would make sure that your video card drivers and direct x version are both up to date. Play around with the 3D setting in your STB folder. I would also check to make sure that your league is still in your STB folder. The game automatically loads your last league when it loads, so make sure that league is there and not corrupted.

I will try the patch again -- the game did flicker a little when moving from screen to screen ...

drivers and direct X are up to date -- check this every 1 to 2 months at MSN downloads..... had to check for TDCB

**** may break down and try --- then buy OOTP 5 .... but want this going first
