New to PT this year: what happens next?

Hi,

I started playing PT earlier this year, so I don’t know what will happen when the MLB season is officially over. Do our teams keep playing until OOTP 25 comes out? Is there a shutdown date before that?

Do we get to continue next year with our current rosters (with new live ratings)?

Even though the season is over, until early February or so there will still be new missions and new card releases similar to the way the rest of the year has work - if they are following the same model as they did in previous years.

I believe PT24 will run at least throughout the 2024 season as well, but it really dies off when PT25 comes out.

But PT25 will be an entirely new roster/cards/etc. You don't get to carry over anything from your PT24 team.

Go take a look at the perfect league championship video on twitch and imagine what would happen to a team that had to start off with irons and bronzes against a team full of high quality perfects.

Or compete with a team that carried over 500,000 against the paltry 1000 you start with.
