Is it possible to auto-populate teams (not nations) for a Custom Tournament

I know that in OOTP you can do things like the World Baseball Classic, and have the tournament auto-populated with countries when the time comes. What I'm wondering is if you can do the same with club teams.

I've always had a problem with associations in that Association playoffs don't get the same kind of graphics that regular league playoffs & championship series do. I was thinking of making a yearly tournament for leagues in my fictional in-game universe that would see the champions of six independent leagues play in a tournament to determine a champion.

The question is: would I be able to make a Custom Tournament automatically grab the champions from six chosen leagues to play in a tournament I make? Or would I have to suck it up and manually pick the teams when the season is over & before the tournament starts.

Thanks.

I'm going to try bumping this once to see if anyone has an answer, as I don't want to turn my save file into an experiment unless I have to.

You have to manually pick them.

It's my biggest request for OOTP -- if you can do this with associations, why not with tournaments?

You can copy just the ".dat" files from your save into a new folder for testing, the entire save folder doesn't need copying to work. Load up the copy and go to town, makes experimenting on a league quick and easy. It'll likely take you longer to browse to the saves folder than it will to get the copy made.

Thanks for the responses. Much like with the graphical stuff I do, I guess it's time for experimenting.
