DH/SP Rules Question
My SP/DH was injured while batting. Can I only use a P as a hitter or can I add a DH in? Obviously the P is pitching.

The game screwed up the rule, because it was deliberately coded as "the SP can become the DH" rather than "the same person is simultaneously the SP and DH". This also impacts some weird stuff with extra-inning runners if he's still on the mound for that long.
In real life, you'd be able to sub in a separate DH and P, but in OOTP, you don't get to put in a new DH and the pitcher has to bat for the remainder of the game. |
