What do you want to see with Daily/Weekly Tournament formats?
Hey y'all!
With a tournament refresh coming up soon, the team is wondering what kind of formats you guys would like to see for daily/weekly tournaments! I know we've had a lot of them in the past, but we'd like to have y'all's input for this go-around!

Somehow, I didn't see this post, but started a new thread, sorry 'bout that. But I want to see a 16-player Open quick, which is not a daily nor weekly.

i.e. 2 perfects, 6 diamonds, and the rest of the cards have to be gold or lower. I think this would make for some cool team building. or.. i.e. 2 golds, 6 silvers, and the rest of the cards bronze or lower. Just a thought. Unrelated, I'd love to see the quick tourneys 'un-nerfed' and returned to last year's format. |

Return to the rewards of the past.
I will adjust to whatever past that.

I would like to see the Perfect Draft format of the PTMS implemented as a 16 or 32 player quick PD. I don't like to wait all day to try again after being eliminated in round 1.
This will tide me over until there are enough cards for a Perfecto, but maybe I might like this even better than the Perfectos. |

For capped tourneys
I'd like to see empty roster slots counted as 5 points more than the minimum allowed card value. This would eliminate 21 man rosters.
I'd also like the last round of PD's to consist of one player at each primary position in the field, and one each LHSP, RHSP, LHRP, and RHRP. |

I would like to see Monochromatic Perfect Drafts. All rounds are of the same rank, such as all bronze, LE's on, pick 2 per round.

That's like asking for Tim Tebow to get a card.
Nevertheless, I would be happy in PT25 to have a PT+ Premium benefit (at an extra cost) of whenever you win a pack of any kind in any kind of tournament you are awarded an extra standard pack. |

An entry fee tournament bronze cards and lower. Would prefer no LE and SE, but maybe that'd get less entrants as it requires additional customization vs this most popular bronze 32 player. Entry fee of 1000 or 2000, w/ 32 or 64 players.
Maybe it'd actually run some times. I'm not sure I've ever seen the others ever run but probably this gold and below one runs *very* infrequently. Since that's the case, bronze and below cards shouldn't detract too much from the near non-existent participation in the others. The reward pool is slightly more than what is contributed (68k vs 64k spent on the 1k entry fees), but still couldn't see how adding one of these that may run regularly would persuade people to spend less. Win/win, right? Last edited by zevus; 10-02-2023 at 08:54 PM. |
