Schedule request - 120 teams, 162 games each

Hi there,

I wonder if one of you talented schedule makers can help me with my World Baseball League?

Would it be possible to have a schedule for the following two setups please? Both are very similar, I'm just planning to expand the league in a couple of seasons so there'll be an extra team in each division then.

Schedule one

162 Games per team
120 teams
2 Sub-leagues
4 Divisions in each sub-league
15 teams in each division
3 game series

An unbalanced schedule where you have two 3 game series against each other team in your division (one home, one away), and then the rest of the games are against teams outside of your division.

Interleague play is on, but less games against other sub-league teams than those in your own sub-league if possible. It's fine if this isn't possible.

All-star break in a similar time to where it is for the MLB.

I realise this might not all be possible, so open to less games per team if that solves it, or any other slight changes.

Schedule 2

Exactly the same as above, except there are now 16 teams in each division, and so there are 128 teams in total.

Thanks so much in advance for any help with this, I really appreciate it!

Quick other question: The way I understand it in the manual, the schedule will then automatically randomise every year, i.e even if using the same schedule file, a team would play different teams in the other subleague each year? That's what I want anyway!

If anyone is doing this (and I'm not sure I appreciated fully how much work making a schedule was until I tried to have a go myself!) then please focus on the second one with 16 teams per division. It would be massively appreciated, but I can continue with my current inferior 'balanced' schedule if no one has the time/will.

Those above follow similar formats. With some many teams, they are rather unwieldy and not conducive to my "cleanup" methods to try to minimize single-series and very long roadtrips/homestands. The 120-team has doubleheaders because of how I put in the 4-game series to make the calendar pretty much match current MLB.

And yes, the game does randomize between seasons so that matchups will change. But it is random mixing and not any sort of strict rotation, so it is possible certain things will not change. E.g., the linked here have series against two teams from each interleague division. When you draw 2 of the 15 or 16 for the next season, there is a chance at repeats, though that chance is smaller with more teams in the divisions.

Thank you so much for these gmo! They look great, and no worries about their slight unwieldiness, must be a bit of a nightmare with this many teams! I'll test these when the next season rolls round on my game and report back. Looking forward to getting some divisional rivalries going thanks to these schedules. Thanks again

I finally got round to moving my game on and testing these! They work a dream, thank you so much gmo! My next expansions will be to 17 and then 18 team divisions. So if you or someone else could make me schedules for those in the same vein, that would be massively appreciated. No rush at all though, it'l take me a while to get to the year for when I've planned the next expansion!
