I don't suppose this utility has the capability of converting the other way, from the current XML format to the legacy style.

Thank you! Title Bout uses the old format so being able to switch from OOTP to it will be useful.

When converting my name files it goes through the whole process and once it gets to the last name of my name file (%100) it will hang up and not finish the process of converting the text files into XMS. I have all updated drivers and PC troubleshooting but nothing works. It freezes up. Any help would be appreciated as I really want to use this program.

Hi Eriq, appreciate all the tools you've made. I've used them far more than one could imagine. I've been struggling with this one, running into the same issue as the one stated above.

I noticed it tends to get stuck spinning on merging large files but has no problems merging small files (i.e single namesets for one ethnicity), not sure if that helps. If there's any chance you found a fix for this, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

mine freezes at importing first names 8%, it shows the name as " "...

there are no missing lines in the files i have i think.

Same. Trying to convert the 1900 - 1950s questdog nameset to xml and it keeps hagning at 8% with the following message

Importing First Name ""....
