Amateur Draft Settings

I started a new standard league and wondered why I wasn't shown the selection of the upcoming amateurs for draft. Then I noticed the enable selection wasn't any longer marked and it said I had to wait until next off season to enable it. So I restarted a new league, making sure it was selected the entire time. Once the first game started, however, it de-selected itself! Now I can't do the amateur draft and I doubt it will stay selected during the offseason on the first day of the next regular season game. Please, fix this bug! I spent way too much time setting my roster and everything the for the start of the season TWICE to keep doing this over and over. Thanks.

It's not unchecked, it's just greyed out.

The draft pool reveal date isn't until April 12th.

The date of the Amateur draft is 7/11. It is 7/22 in-game and the draft didn't take place. The draft reveal didn't happen in April either.

I'm sorry, I don't know what to tell you then. I just started a standard game, made no changes, the draft revealed on April 12th and the draft occurred on July 11th.

We should be able to make changes though. Does OOTP indicate they've read the bug reports and are working on it or let us know they see the message and such? I'm not sure how this works.

Did you make any changes when you started that game? Like disabling and re-enabling the draft, or trying to change the date on it?

Have you tried starting a new game and not making any changes to see if it works?

If the draft didn't work in a standard MLB game there would be tons of reports about it happening.

I started a new one and it's working. I dunno what happened before, as long as it's working now lol.
