3D Engine Text Error

I've noticed that sometimes when the in-game text function is running next to the scoreboard, it will say O for 1 instead of 0 for 1 (it uses the letter instead of the number). I can try to screenshot this the next time it comes up, but I see it fairly frequently.

As I understand it, it's a conscious decision to have the PBP use the letter O stand in for zero, as on speech-to-text it'll sound as it should: "Oh-one pitch to Gaetti..."

That said, if you're looking for how it should look in text, may I direct you to my edits for the PBP file. Go here: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=347488

That would make sense, but I routinely will see the notation "0 for 1" in the text box as well. I feel like if the game was using "O" for the reason you suggested, it would do it for all of the instances in which the announcer would say "oh for one"? Unless there is something I'm missing...

When you see "0 for 1," that's hardcoded text which is supplied automatically when a token is used in the text database.
