Coaching question
I did a quick search but didn't find this. In the coaching system, is it only the pitching/batting coach that affects player development or is it a team effort? I have John Farrell as a bench coach, do his rating affect player development?

no one really knows, unfortunately. There have not been any comprehensive evidence-based tests, that I'm aware of, and OOTPD does not like to tell people how their game works under the hood

I would suggest watching the videos on Player Development & Understanding Personnel and Staff Roles - #'s 12 & 16. This may give you a better understanding of the interaction between staff and players.
