Help With Service Time Issues When Moving Between Leagues

I'm having some trouble figuring this out. Historically in my league, we have a lot of movement between the various major and international leagues that I created. When a player moves from one league to another, the service time does not reset as I unchecked that in all league financial settings. So, if a player played 8 seasons in the US league and moves to another league in Korea, he will retain 8 service years and the same applies if he moves from a foreign league to the US league.

I am now wanting to reset the major league service time when players enter my US league so that they can be eligible for rookie of the year. The issue comes when they move back to their home nation league in the future. They lose credit for all the years they were major leaguers in their home nation league.

Is it possible for OOTP to "remember" the service time for their previous leagues so that they can regain their service when they return?

I always wonder this and always forget to check. I feel like it was handling it properly at some point, but there is only major league service days, 40-man service days, and pro service years in the editor, so that may have just been my imagination.

Ideally it would track service time for each major and international league and then in each leagues settings you could mark which league's service time to consider.

I find this happens as well for international guys who rack up stats but then move to MLB and don't crack the majors (or do, for cups of coffee). My game will delete them automatically since I have the option to do so for guys with no MLB service, but I've found it inadvertently deletes guys with HOF resumes for their original league. Even unretiring them, assigning them to an international team and retiring them there doesn't fix it. It's frustrating.
