A few for the suggestion box
Where historically accurate -- or just as an option for historical or fictional games -- allow a 26th (or 27th) player on the active roster for the second game of a double header. Most teams call up a minor leaguer to make a spot start. Otherwise, you end up having to option someone to keep the rotation and bullpen solvent.
When drafting, there's the option to ask the scouting director for a recommendation. And I'm sure that the scouting director is picking the "best available" player, but sometimes I'll see someone and think "Nah, I don't like him." If I hit "recommendation" again, I usually get the same player. Can we get a button for "Not that guy, but someone else please?"
Sometimes I like to start a season and do a fantasy draft and then set everything to auto-draft and play with whatever the computer gives me. I'm assuming that the draft picks are made by the "scouting director" of the team I've chosen and that the director's preferences will naturally favor certain players. I keep getting the same players over and over and a certain kind of team (usually, a rebuilder that's high on prospects and minor league depth, but three years away from winning.) Can we get an option to where you can auto-draft, but set up a few parameters that you'd prefer. Forced choice sliders: batting vs. pitching; win-now vs. prospects; veterans vs. early career; defense vs. hitting
Another thing that I like to do is to take control of a team and then clean house for the coaches and the minor league staff. I'll often clear out all the minor league hitting coaches, for example, and then filter out the available coaches to get the type that I like and hire 6 or 7 of them to cover the minors. For example, I might offer a contract to Smith to be my AAA hitting coach, and then I back out to the list of availables and get distracted, and then try to remember if I already offered Smith a contract. Can Smith be listed in red or green or whatever as "you already offered a contract" so that I don't click on Smith twice.
For MLB replay leagues, spring training is always contested in-league. AL teams play only AL teams, and NL vs. NL. Can we get historically accurate Cactus and Grapefruit Leagues instead?
