Im playing as GM+headcoach.

Im setting lines and go to "Lines" and are in sub "Lines" 5 on 5. Setting Rasmus Dahlins as Right defenceman and are clicking under his name
and there i can choose his role to "quaterback", You can choose global, unit and playerroles there, and its the player role im setting to "quaterback"

Then i go to "powerplay" and also there Setting Rasmus Dahlin as right defenceman. But its pp and i want him as a "pointman". But when i change him to pointman in pp, he is also change to pointman in 5on 5. So if im then setting him to play in pk, he is also pointman there, and thats no god.

So what am i doing wrong, or cant players have different roles in 5on5, pp and pk?

No, the tactical roles apply to the player's overall behaviour, not how he plays on a specific unit.

Ok, thanks for fast answer, but imo it should be possible to instruct players to act differently in pp vs pk.

Just bought the game and its seems to be lot of things to remember, but like it so far.
