Game Crashing to Desktop when manually selecting goalie starters new option

Just reached the playoffs in our online league, going to set my goalie starter and as soon as I select 'starter' the game pauses momentarily then crashes to desktop. Can confirm it's happening to other users in our league too.

When I set Game 1 to Starter it crashes but when I set Game 2 and then Game 1 after, it doesn’t.

Our next sim is Thursday, if you need files as of this date let me know and I'll upload them before we proceed.

EDIT - can confirm that it is NOT affecting my other online league game, which is currently in the regular season. So potentially linked to us being in the post season.

I'm getting a crash there, but not exactly as described; for me, it's happening if I assign the Vegas backup to Game 2. Something's definitely not right, we'll have to investigate this a little further.

Looks like it's a bug, but a very specific one: it'll only happen to some teams in the playoffs of the second season and later. So avoid using goalie starts in the playoffs after the first year; we'll have that fixed in the next version.
