Not filling out starting rotation
Returned to OOTP after few years absence. I started a new game and allowed the manager to make rotation decisions aside from the few guys I forced rolls for. As the season progressed, I traded a few of the guys originally in the rotation and a few guys were injured so they came on and off the injured list. The manager never replaced them in the rotation and just kept starting the remaining players in the rotation list. 2/3 of the way through the season, the one guy who had been in the rotation the whole year already had 42 starts. At the end of the season he had 53 starts. A lot of my pitchers had career poor seasons, so it certainly threw things off. It only stopped when I took control of setting the rotation. Even with guys force started at SP, the manager just kept rolling with the one guy.
While typing this I recognized what could be the issue...I don't have managers in my game. I presumed there would still be an ethereal AI manager carrying out those tasks in my name though.
