Two things missing from the custom franchise that I love in OOTP is the ability to set a salary cap (something MLB sorely misses) and the ability to trade draft picks.

There are weird UI issues that make the screens frustrating. You try to move players around in the transactions menu but everything resets as soon as you go back to the screen.

In games, there are some weird graphical issues that are odd but don't really matter. Sometimes the ball goes through players or goes extremely foul but end up being a double. These are just goofy and don't really affect gameplay.

Core gameplay issues in my opinion. Bad baserunning is common. The inability to score from 3rd on a flyball consistently is an issue. Going first to third is also rarely done. Players will run on a ground ball to third when there is no force play and get thrown out at home. I had a player get thrown out at third trying for a triple with two outs, down by 5 in the bottom of the 9th. No one would try to stretch that in that situation.

Bunting is also seemingly impossible. It rarely gets the bunt down.

Triples happen far too often, and double plays don't seem to happen often enough.

Way too many wild pitches and hit batters, same with errors, even with good fielding players.

Can't swap in a new pitcher while you are hitting makes no sense. Too many times I forget to put them into the game and I end up pitching to the first batter.

I like the core game and the sound effects are actually really good. I typically play out each game on a full batter option and not pitch by pitch. I appreciate that the game is free when just doing a custom franchise but would be willing to pay for the game as a one time cost if it would improve the game, especially UI issues. Would be even better if you could buy OOTP 24 on the computer and have crossplay on your phone. Or be able to adjust the rosters and such on a PC web browser so you can focus on just playing the games on your phone but do more of the heavy roster management stuff from your computer.
