Money for extensions
Each year I usually have a decent amount of cash to sign free agents with more cash coming in as I free up cash in trades or try to get some cash here or there thrown in, in a trade. but I can never get my money for extensions to go up.
What's is the best way to do this? Is it just trade someone that has a lot of future dollars tied up? And what is the way to "cheat" through commish mode to be able to do it? Just adding cash to your financials doesn't do it. I think it is just a bit dumb that I can't extend my guy for 10 million a year this year, but if I let him get to free agency and he isn't mad, I can sign him for 15 million a year for as long as I want. In commish mode, if you make your media contract larger, you should have more money for extensions.
