Schedule Issues

Playing Historical game

At the start of the 2005 season I add two more teams to bring the total to 36 and change the playoff format to NHL 2020 to expand the playoffs.

After the game froze the first time I changed the playoff schedule back.

I did generate schedule under the structure tab, but kept getting an error saying there was no schedule.

In previous versions of the fame (8, 7 etc) games I always seem to have problems once I go the 3 divisions in two conferences.

I think I'll need to see the save to figure out exactly what's going on there, could be a few different things.

Yeah. the schedule generator doesn't like an odd number of teams in each division combined with an odd number of divisions. Switch the structure so there's at least one division with an even number of teams in each conference and it'll generate the schedule properly.

It looks like the 2020 Playoff System is mismatching the divisions and conferences somehow; we'll have to take a look at exactly what's going on there. So you'll be better to stick with the earlier playoff format (or a custom one.)
