Debug trace file

I've tried enabling debug trace in Settings in order to troubleshoot a file update problem our online league is having. It doesn't appear to be generating a trace file. Am I missing something?

If you go to Settings-Troubleshooting from the start screen, there's an option to open the trace file there. Does clicking that open it?

No. Nothing happens when clicking that button. As mentioned in my other thread, this is a Linux system, so this could be the same wine issue.
