Change save location?

Hello all,

I am running into a bit of an issue because my FHM files are being saved into my Documents, which means they get saved on my OneDrive as well. Because of that, my OneDrive becomes full as soon as I launch a FHM game.

I know there's a Youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTZo...TPDevelopments) that explains how to change save location for OOTP games, but it does not work the same for FHM unfortunately.

Does anyone know a way to prevent FHM from saving files in my Documents folder?

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, no, there's no way to avoid it saving to Documents right now. And, unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't make it easy to prevent a specific subfolder in Documents from OneDrive. Someone claims to have found a workaround for that at:

https://superuser.com/questions/1559...backup-folders

So that may be worth looking into, although I'm not certain it'll be a reliable solution.

Thank you for your answer Jeff. I found a way to prevent OneDrive from syncing the Documents folder, so it should be fine.

Could be a good idea to include a way to change the save location like in OOTP though, maybe in a future version!

Please?! My Documents folder isn't on OneDrive, but it is on a server file share. My entire Documents folder is 3.5 GB and FHM9 is responsible for 3.0 GB of that with just one saved game. FHM doesn't seem to like saving the facegen files to file shares or something because they seem to get corrupted a lot which is another aggravation with the save location.

I love FHM and I am not going to stop playing because of this, but I might upgrade sooner if this were added.

I'm sure it's too late for 10, but maybe 11?
