things still missing in 3D

the 3d was a major upgrade this year i feel. more fluid, better looking animations and plays.

But some regular things that happen in mlb games are never seen:

1. outfielders diving for a ball and missing and the other closest outfielder then fielding it.
2. throws from the outfield missing the mark that dont result in an extra base. sometimes its an errant throw but someone is backing a base up (misses the 2nd baseman but the short stop gets it on the hop, or misses third but the pitcher is there to get it)
3. a double play where the shortstop steps on second and then throws to first.

These all happen every day in MLB games, would be cool to see them get added to the game.

Is it possible?

Also what's missing (invisible) to me are the actual players. It has happened at every defensive position. And....baserunners and the hitters disappear.

Also.... multiple crashes during dames.
Version 23 ran perfectly. So should version run perfectly.

I'd like to see a guy thrown out trying to stretch a single to the outfield in to a double. We have the double stretch to triple throw out but not the single to double.

BTW, anyone else notice a rather large uptick in outfield assists this version?

Yeah that would be good too. a little less common but definitely would add some immersion.

I've seen it in v23 and before. It is rare, so not surprised I haven't seen it yet in v24 (43 games into my season). IIRC the animation timing wasn't great, IE guy is out by "a lot" and you're left with wondering "why did he try to stretch that?".

Hopefully you find answers. As for me? Haven't experienced any of this on my "off the shelf" tower.

Haven't found the answer. But here's one.... I play as GM/Mgr of the 2023 Cards. Last night ,while playing, the other team had ALL 3 OF's as invisible.

Does anyone know if you can toggle crowd animations off? Thanks

You can, yes. One of the 3d settings.

I have had this happen before. It's really rare, though

Must be, as I've never seen it and I play out all my games.

I'd like to see stolen base animations that aren't so obvious.

If the guy is going to be out, you can tell before he's even half way there. All the successful steals that involve a throw look like close plays, tho.

Maybe have the "close" animation be the default on the vast majority of steals with the actual call still being whatever it was going to be, either safe or out.

Oh, and that animation where the ball sails over the seemingly walking center fielder's head. At least have him running or maybe even trip. I HATE that one animation!

that's a funny one..I'd like to see an animation where the outfielder leaps at the wall and actually CATCHES the ball. That never happens and he always misses it.

are you sure youre not thinking of the short stepping on second for a single out?? i've never seen this in a double play context.

nope! I was definitely surprised the first time I saw it, as it was unexpected, but, the shortstop ran to 2nd base for the 1st out and then threw on to 1st to complete the double play.

The underhand flip. When the shortstop and second baseman are really close by the bag, an underhand flip instead of the regular throw would be nice to see. Same with the first baseman and pitcher on the 3-1 hook up at first.

The 3-1 or 1-3 really does need fixed as underhand is super common there. would be awesome to see some variety there! especially on comebacks to the pitcher a lot of times they'll jog a little to first then underhand it
