Issue with team export file size

Posted on the general forum but asking here because of more experience with online leagues.

I'm running an online league with two friends. We just exchange files over email and it's been manageable until recently.

The problem is one of the members team export file is ballooning in size. It's up to 1.2 gb vs 2kb for the other person. What would be causing this? Is this a settings issue and does anyone have any way to resolve?

I'm also seeing this issue in our online league. One GM has hit the 1.2GB file size for his export (team_xx.ootp file) vs the normal 2kb for most GMs. A few others have started to increase in size. Anyone seen this and managed to workaround?
