Sac bunts.

I don't know if I'm just having bad luck or what, but my team can't seem to lay down a sac bunt to save their lives. I'm playing with the Guardians (current season) and it feels like the majority of my sac bunt attempts fail from either missing it outright or bunting it foul. I'd say they actually lay the bunt down about 1/3 of the time, if that. I don't remember having problem in past years (though I haven't played since 21). Anyone else having this problem, or I'm I just seeing an anomaly?

I've noticed it being problematic for me, too.

However.... teams bunt like crap in real life. Getting a good sac-bunt down in real life always seems to be a major crap shoot.

I agree with you that successfully doing this in OOTP24 seems wayyyyy more challenging than it did in years past, but maybe it was just way too easy in years past and it was finally made more realistic?

Sorry to bring back an old post, but this issue still seems to be something worth looking into. I've been doing a Pirates season where I play out all games and bunting has been almost impossible. I've had a few guys with 80-90 Sac Bunt ratings who still are unable to execute one. I know all of this is anecdotal, but I've been playing this game since OOTP 1 and never remember having so many issues getting a guy to lay down a bunt.

Same problem here and I would like to also add some ground balls hit foul that turn out to be fair and they throw my runner out but it never happens to the opposing team

I think that is more of just a glitch in the ball/fielder mechanics. If you do a replay when that happens, the replay shows what really happened.
